Advanced Unix Network Services

     This course takes an administrator out of the world of a single machine into a networked environment. You will learn the basics of networking and subnetting. You will learn how to set up a Domain Name System (DNS) Server, a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Server, a Web Server, and a Samba Server. Then examine how to secure these servers, communicate securely between them, and monitor the overall system.

    Audience:

         This course is designed for administrators who are responsible for integrating systems with other internal systems, subnetting LANs, tuning network bandwidth, monitoring system usage, securing their systems from unauthorized use, and providing a link to the outside world through the Internet.
